Yogurt for Yeast Infections

The live acidophilus in the yogurt keeps the bad bacteria in the intestines down to a manageable level. If your dog is on antibiotics, a little yogurt will help keep yeast infections at bay.

The healthy required bacteria from the curds will replace the unhealthy yeast bacteria. This could be done twice or thrice a day. Replenishing that bacteria is one of the best things you can do.

You see, yogurt actually contains good bacteria in it which helps to fight off bad bacteria. So, this is a great way that you can treat a yeast infection.
The levels of sugar are higher in a diabetic than in anyone else and yeast feeds on sugar.

Diabetic individuals are at a much higher risk of acquiring external yeast infection. The foods they eat are high in yeast, carbs and sugars. They need to wear cotton undergarments, give up some yeast filled foods, drink more water and eat more yogurt. Eat the plain yogurt without mixing it with sugar. Yogurt tampons also help a lot by killing the disease from the root.
